Allocating a line of 20,000 billion rials for the field of cooperation


According to the Iran Economist, Hojjatollah Abdolmaleki, Minister of Cooperatives, Labor and Social Welfare, stated at the inauguration ceremony of 102 cooperative projects held on the occasion of the Fajr Decade in the presence of the First Vice President: This has been one of the most important measures in the field of cooperation, and the Cooperative Development Bank, along with the development institutions of the cooperative sector, have an effective role in achieving a 25% share in the national economy.

He added: 975 new cooperatives with 23,000 members and an employment capacity of 20,000 people have been formed in the 13th government and 214 cooperative investment projects have been identified and introduced.
Mohammad Mokhber, the first vice president, said: “Cooperatives can be considered as a connecting link between production companies, and problems and issues that have even led to the closure of production units can be solved through organizations and collective work in the form of cooperatives.”
He added: “Extensive investments have been made in the country and some large-scale projects will yield returns and employment in the medium and long term. Microeconomics can also be used to boost production and employment in the regions.
The First Vice President noted: The government is ready to formulate and announce roadmaps to facilitate the activities of cooperatives, and if the issues and problems of cooperatives are presented in a categorical manner, we will announce effective resolutions to address them.
Mehdi Maskani, Deputy Minister of Cooperatives, Labor and Social Welfare, also said at the ceremony: 102 cooperative projects with a capacity of 7081 people with an investment of 27 thousand billion rials will be inaugurated in this national event.
He added: “The belief of officials in cooperation and directing an important part of the country’s liquidity to this sector, can lead to the use of huge economic power of the people and great economic prosperity, the role of the Cooperative Development Bank and specialized institutions in this regard is very important.”
The event was attended by Hojjatollah Mehdian, CEO, Seyed Baqer Fattahi, Chairman and Mohammad Jafar Irani, Member of the Board of Directors of the Cooperative Development Bank.
