Allocation of 31 billion and 402 million dollars of currency to the Ministry of Security


The Governor General of the Central Bank announced in the public session of the Parliament:

According to the financial news report, citing the public relations of the central bank, Farzin, the head of the central bank, referring to the fact that we have allocated 5 billion and 416 million dollars of foreign currency to the car and its parts since the beginning of this year, said: since the beginning of the year and according to the priorities It has been announced that the Ministry of Security has been allocated more than 31 billion and 402 million dollars in foreign currency.

In today’s public meeting of the Islamic Council, Farzin clarified the questions of the representatives to the Minister of Industry regarding the delay in the import of cars, emphasizing the performance of the central bank’s duties in allocating foreign currency for imports. The central bank has fulfilled its obligations.

He said: From the beginning of the year to the 5th of January, amounting to 31 billion 402 million dollars of foreign currency has been given to the ministry, which has increased by five percent compared to last year. Five billion and 406 million dollars have been allocated to the field of automobiles and parts so far, which has increased by eight percent compared to last year.

Farzin added: As Minister Sammat explained, the import of cars has also been done based on the allocated currency, and now negotiations have been held regarding the import of electric cars, normal cars and the import of cars from free zones, and the necessary agreement has been reached. The central bank will also allocate currency for import based on sources and instructions.

He continued: The representatives tell me that you should allocate currency based on the currency resources of the country, and I announced that we will also allocate currency from the freed currency resources in order to avoid creating problems in the field of production.

The head of the Central Bank emphasized: At the beginning of the year, 29.5 billion dollars were supposed to be given to the Ministry of Industry, Mines and Trade, but in order for the country not to face problems, 31 billion and 402 million dollars have been given to this moment, when the year has not yet ended. Foreign currency has been allocated to the Ministry of Security, and according to the agreement with the Ministry of Security, up to 42 billion dollars will be allocated to this Ministry of Foreign Exchange so that the country’s production sector does not face problems.

In the end, he noted: In the central bank, in the area of ​​currency allocation, efforts are made to allocate all the currency based on the needs of each department. The Central Bank has allocated the currency required by the Ministry of Industry, Mines and Trade, and it is the Ministry that must plan for it.
