Theater News Base: Reza Basirat, CEO of the Iranian Performing Arts Association, announced the full payment and settlement of the production subsidy for professional and semi-professional plays performed in public and private theaters in Tehran during the first five months of 1400.
Accordingly, in order to support theatrical groups, the amounts approved by the Supporting Council to the groups that had been suspended due to the outbreak of coronavirus are fully settled and also in accordance with the announced instructions to compensate part of the losses due to 50% of the capacity of theaters ( Private and public) were paid to compensate for empty seats in the shows.
It is worth mentioning that about thirteen billion Rials were allocated to theatrical groups approved by the Support Council who performed their professional and semi-professional works in full or due to incomplete corona in private and public halls in Tehran.
