Seyed Ehsan Khandouzi, while pointing to the importance of cinema, welcomed the establishment of a joint table between economics and cinema and said: “I am personally very interested in the field of cinema and therefore I am aware of the importance of cinema.”
He continued: “We also want to provide a space in which the economic issues of cinema can be studied.” This joint working group can be formed through the accompaniment of representatives of the Ministry of Economy and the Cinema Organization and some other institutions such as the Supreme Council of Cinema Producers, Cinematographers, etc.
The Minister of Economic Affairs and Finance also expressed hope for the establishment of appropriate exemptions for the import of customs infrastructure for the needs of cinema infrastructure.
At the beginning of the meeting, Khazaei, referring to the importance of cinema in helping to develop the country’s economy and economic culture, said: “Cinema can play a significant role in changing, transforming, recording and reflecting the growth and development of the country and expanding national interests in the economic field.”
He continued: “On the other hand, economic institutions as powerful auxiliary arms can have a great impact on the growth and development of cinema and cinematic currents.”
While praising the cultural point of view of the Minister of Economic Affairs and Finance, the head of the Cinema Organization pointed to the economic problems of the cinema field and said: Economic affairs can play an important role in resolving it.
Referring to infrastructure deprivations in some parts of the country, Khazaei said: “According to the standards, there should be one cinema hall for every 20,000 people in the country, but unfortunately 222 cities do not have cinemas and the allocation of cheap facilities can be achieved with the participation of private and public sectors.” Is.
Referring to the need to facilitate the import of cinema equipment and equipment for the prosperity of the cinema industry, Khazaei said: “We need to create a working group consisting of economists and filmmakers so that we can study the problems and issues in this area and take appropriate measures.”
At the end of his speech, the head of the cinema organization pointed out the importance of protecting film festivals and said: the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Finance can be a support arm of the cinema organization as a support arm due to its economic enterprises.
