Amber Heard remains “Queen of Atlantis”

Despite reports that Amber Heard has been fired from “Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom”, the controversial actor has not been left out of the role of Queen Atlantis.
Charso Press: A spokesman for Hurd said in a statement: “The rumors continue to be false, ruthless and insane as they were on the first day.
Amber Heard had previously played the character of Mera, Queen of Atlantis, opposite Jason Momoa in the first part of Aquaman (2018) and Justice League (2017).
The 36-year-old actor’s fame has been overshadowed by Johnny Depp’s public retrial in recent months. The court ruled that Hurd should pay $ 10 million in damages and $ 350,000 in fines to his ex-wife.
On the eve of the controversial trial, an online signature campaign was launched demanding the removal of Amber Heard from Aquaman and The Lost Kingdom.
About 1,800 people had signed the petition before the trial, but as more people became aware of the campaign a few weeks later, the number of signatures exceeded 3 million.
The text of the petition states: “Since Amber Heard has been proven to have committed domestic violence, Warner Bros. and DC Studios are needed and should remove Heard from the Aquaman 2 movie project.” They should not ignore the suffering of Hurd victims and should not portray a perpetrator as good.
The petition goes on to say: Men, like women, may be victims of domestic violence. This must be acknowledged and action taken to prevent the perpetuation of a proven abuse in the entertainment industry. Do the right thing. Remove Amber Heard from Aquaman 2.
Aquaman producer Peter Sfern defended keeping Amber Heard on the Aquaman cast and the Lost Kingdom last year despite a campaign. The producer had argued that Hurd staying in the movie was in his best interest and that he should play Jason Momova again in the movie.
