AMD Phoenix Integrated Graphics Power – RTX 3060 Laptop Size

Famous revealer Greymon55 Claims that the integrated graphics power of future AMD Phoenix processors could be similar to the weaker versions of the GeForce RTX 3060 mobile. The Ryzen 7000 generation will officially have two series for notebooks, Dragon Range and Phoenix, which will be used in powerful devices and slim and light designs, respectively. Also in the second series, we will probably see the presence of RDNA 3 graphic architecture.
Phoenix APUs have a thermal power of 35 to 45 watts, which means that they fit in two Ryzen 7000H / HS series. Of course, this power is not limited to integrated graphics, and Zen 4 cores must be modified along with other logic circuits. However, Greymon claims that RDNA 3 integrated graphics alone can have the same performance as the 60-watt GeForce RTX 3060 Mobile.
Integrated graphics power of AMD Phoenix processors
It should be noted that the 60-watt version of the RTX 3060 is not very popular and is not used in recent designs, but it is used in laptops such as the Asus ROG Zephyrus G14 in 2021 and even uses Dynamic Boost (up to 20 watts more power), which means Direct comparison will be a bit difficult.
Also, RTX 3060 class graphics with such limited power are about 30% weaker than the unlimited version. The 60-watt model has a frequency in the range of 817 to 1282 MHz, which is much lower than the 1702 MHz version of the 115 watts.
Meanwhile, the Red Team’s current RDNA integrated graphics are released at 2.4 GHz (Ryzen 9 6900HS). Phoenix integrated graphics with 5nm manufacturing technology and further optimizations can have even higher frequencies. This means that this integrated model does not necessarily have to have the same number of shades as the RTX 3060 to offer the same power.
