America sanctions 36 Chinese companies

According to the reporter of Fars News Agency, quoted by Bloomberg, the Biden administration wants to add the names of 36 Chinese companies, including the Yangtze electronic chip manufacturing company, to the black list of companies banned from doing business with the United States.

Informed sources have announced that the names of these Chinese companies will be added to the blacklist of the US Department of Commerce this week.

Companies whose names are added to this list will not be able to purchase American equipment without special permission from the US government.

A US Commerce Department official said last month that several Chinese companies, including the same Yangtze chip manufacturing company, are at risk of being blacklisted by the US Commerce Department.

In October, the names of 31 Chinese companies, including Yangtze, were added to the list of companies that US authorities cannot inspect, and this issue raised tensions between Washington and Beijing.
