America: The world needs Iranian oil – Mehr news agency Iran and world’s news

According to Mehr news agency, “Wendy Sherman, the US deputy foreign minister and the country’s former negotiator, in a conversation at the “International House of Students” in Washington, claimed that the comprehensive plan of joint action known as the JCPOA is not dead yet and that a practical agreement to revive the JCPOA is on the table and Iran must accept it. .

to the writing website “WashingtonDiplomat,” negotiations to revive the JCPOA have been ongoing since February, and there are few signs of a new agreement being reached, but Sherman It is believed that there is still a chance to revive the JCPOA.

Despite the verbal criticism of the former government’s unilateral withdrawal from the JCPOA international agreement, the current American authorities have not taken concrete and practical measures to revive the JCPOA and are constantly trying to throw the ball in Iran’s court and identify Tehran as the main culprit for not reaching the final agreement.

Wendy Sherman who is now the second person in the US Foreign Ministry, following this recent line of officials of this country, attributed the failure to reach an agreement to “political differences in Iran and the inability to make a decision”! He is in this load He claimed: I think a practical and lasting agreement has been reached and Iran should say yes to it. (But) at best I can say that they cannot decide.

This American official continued to consider the agreement in favor of Iran and claimed: they will receive a reduction in sanctions, their economy will improve, they will sell their oil again, and the world needs their oil, so they can sell it at a good price. The agreement is in their favor.

These claims of the American official come at a time when one of the main obstacles in the path to the success of the nuclear negotiations is Washington’s refusal to provide adequate guarantees for the Islamic Republic to enjoy the economic benefits of the JCPOA.

Negotiations on the lifting of sanctions and the return of the United States to the JCPOA agreement in the 13th government began in Vienna in early January last year, but due to Washington’s lack of seriousness, these talks were stopped in March. After a break of several months, a new round of negotiations was held in Doha, Qatar on the 7th and 8th of July, but so far it has not led to a clear and clear result, and the fate of the JCPOA is still in an aura of uncertainty.
