America: We have seen the destructive power of Iran’s drones – Mehr news agency Iran and world’s news

According to the Mehr News Agency, quoted by CBS, “John Kirby”, the strategic communications coordinator of the US National Security Council in the White House, announced in his press conference: “The American army and forces have experienced the destructive and lethal power of Iranian drones.”

In response to a question about the possibility of selling Iranian drones to Russia, he said: We have no information to show that Iranian drones have been sold to Russia. But this does not mean that Russia will not seek to buy these types of weapons.

This American official further added: Iran has the internal ability to build drones and these drones have destructive and deadly capabilities. We have seen their capabilities with our own eyes, in the attacks they have carried out against our own forces in Iraq and Syria and against our installations (in West Asia). Therefore, we follow this issue closely and take it seriously.

US officials and media began claiming that Iranian drones were sold to Russia for use in the Ukraine war last week, and even CNN claimed that Russian officials visited Iran at least twice last month to visit Iran’s drones.

White House National Security Adviser Jake Sullivan claimed in a press conference on the eve of US President Joe Biden’s visit to West Asia that Washington has information that shows Iran is preparing to send at least a hundred drones to Russia and train them to use them. Some of them belong to the Russians, and some of these drones are capable of carrying weapons.

The senior officials of Iran and Russia rejected this American claim. “Nasser Kanani”, the spokesman of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Iran, said in this regard: “The history of cooperation between the Islamic Republic of Iran and the Russian Federation in the field of some modern technologies goes back to before the start of the war in Ukraine, and there has been no special development in this relationship in the recent period.” Is.
