America: We received Iran’s proposals through the European Union

The US State Department spokeswoman, who was not named, told reporters on Tuesday local time that the US was conveying its views to the European Union.

The spokesperson of the US Ministry of Foreign Affairs said about Iran’s proposals: We share our opinions with the European Union.

According to IRNA, the Islamic Republic of Iran has submitted its written response to the latest draft of the Vienna Agreement and announced that an agreement will be reached if the American response is realistic and flexible.

Iran has expressed its views in response to the latest draft of the Vienna Agreement presented by the European Union. As can be seen from the positions of the Iranian team, the differences are on three issues, in which the United States expressed its verbal flexibility in two cases, but it should be included in the text. The third issue is related to guaranteeing the continuation of JCPOA implementation, which depends on the realism of the United States to secure Iran’s opinion.

These issues were discussed in detail yesterday afternoon (Monday) in the special session of the National Security Council, and finally, Iran’s positions were provided in writing to the European Union as the coordinator of the talks on Tuesday morning, August 25, 1401.

A European Union spokesman confirmed receiving Iran’s response to the latest draft of the Vienna Agreement and announced that the European Union is studying and consulting with other JCPOA members and the United States.
Mohammad Marandi, the adviser of our country’s negotiating team, wrote in a tweet: Iran has expressed its concerns, but solving the remaining issues is not so difficult.

He stated that Iran’s concerns are related to the Western parties’ bad faith towards the JCPOA and added: “I cannot say that an agreement will be reached, but we are closer to an agreement than before.”

The spokesperson of the US State Department announced that Washington will also submit its response to the draft agreement to EU foreign policy chief Josep Borrell. He claimed that if Iran is ready to return to mutual adherence to JCPOA, America is also ready.

At the same time, Ned Price continued the failed policies of maximum pressure of the United States and without mentioning the responsibilities of the United States and compensation for its losses in violating the JCPOA, he threatened that if Iran cannot or is not ready to fully implement the JCPOA, we are ready to strictly implement the sanctions. continue our efforts and use other diplomatic pressures.

Meanwhile, Hossein Amir Abdullahian, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of our country, says that the Americans are sending a message behind the curtain: We are on the eve of the (Congress) elections, we have a problem with gasoline, we have a problem in the field of energy, and help us. According to the foreign minister of our country, Iran has announced that the condition for reaching the finish line of the Vienna negotiations is the realism and flexibility of the other side.

The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Iran stated in a gathering of reporters: We have shown flexibility in all the stages of negotiations in the issues that we could. America understands very well how flexible we were to show goodwill in reaching an agreement. Now it is the turn of the American side to be flexible.
He added that if America’s response to Iran’s response “is accompanied by realism and flexibility, we will be at the point of agreement, and if America repeats its internal calamities and wants to score points and does not show flexibility, we should have more dialogue.”

The new round of negotiations to lift Iran sanctions after a five-month break began on August 13 in Vienna, and these negotiations ended after four days on August 17 when the delegations returned to the capitals.

The holding of this round of negotiations took place after the European Union’s foreign policy official claimed in the Financial Times newspaper that he has put a new proposal package on the table, which includes up-to-date solutions regarding the lifting of sanctions and Iran’s nuclear steps.

Following the end of this round of negotiations, the American and European Union officials claimed that the final text was presented to all parties, which cannot be changed, and should either be accepted or the negotiations declared a failure, which is this claim by the Iranian Foreign Ministry official. It was rejected and it was announced that due to the continuation of discussions on several important issues, we are not yet at a stage where we can talk about the finalization of the text of the agreement in Vienna.

US Special Representative for Iran Robert Malley also announced that no agreement has been reached (on the nuclear negotiations) because there will be no agreement until all issues are agreed upon.

The talks have reached the crucial stages while reaching the finish line and the final agreement is pending the political decisions of the West, especially the United States of America as the party violating the 1994 agreement.

The delegation of the Islamic Republic of Iran emphasizes that it is necessary to reach an agreement, the stability of the lifting of sanctions is somehow guaranteed, and that this issue should not remain as a pressure lever to be used against Iran in the future.
