American politician: Putin’s supporters have no place in the Republican Party

Mike Pence, a Republican politician, criticized a supporter of Russian President Vladimir Putin in the Republican Party who used positive words to describe him during a Republican program in New Orleans.
The former US vice president said that those who support Vladimir Putin have no place in this party. Only true supporters of freedom can remain in this party.
Pence’s remarks come just days after Trump released remarks about Vladimir Putin, who he described as “genius, wise and intelligent” for invading Ukraine.
Pence also called on US President Joe Biden’s administration to take a tougher line against Putin and boycott Russian oil exports.
“Putin only understands power,” Pence said. As members of the Republican Party that won the Cold War, we must send a clear message: Putin must stop his actions or pay the price.
Mike Pence was the 48th Vice President of the United States during Donald Trump’s presidency from 2017 to 2021.

Recognizes Lugansk and signs cooperation and friendship agreements with the leaders of these republics in the Kremlin.
In a speech on Russian national television on the morning of Thursday (February 24th), Putin announced military action in Donbas and called on Ukrainian forces to lay down their weapons and go home.
