According to Mehr news agency, citing Al-Ahed, Iraqi citizens expelled a group of American Embassy employees in Baghdad while they were planning to participate in a cultural event commemorating the memory and status of martyred General Hajj Qassem Soleimani and Abu Mahdi Al-Muhandis. .

According to this report, after the participants strongly objected to the presence of the American embassy staff and shouted “America is the biggest devil”, the representatives were humiliated and had to leave the said day’s event.

Lieutenant General Hajj Qassem Soleimani, commander of the Quds Force of the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps, and Abu Mehdi Al-Muhandis, the martyred vice-chairman of the Al-Hashd al-Shaabi Organization of Iraq, were martyred in January 2020 by the order of former US President Donald Trump in a criminal act in an American drone attack.

It should be noted that two days after the martyrdom of Sardar Soleimani and Abu Mahdi Al-Muhandis, the Iraqi Parliament approved the bill to expel American soldiers from the country and required the government of this country to end the presence of all foreign forces led by the United States in Iraq.
