America’s new excuse for not focusing on negotiations with Iran – Mehr News Agency | Iran and world’s news

According to Mehr news agency, citing Al Jazeera, America, which had previously announced that negotiations are not on its agenda by supporting the disturbances in Iran and is focusing on these disturbances, gave a new excuse for not focusing on negotiations with Iran.

According to this report, John Kirby, the strategic relations coordinator of the US National Security Council, said on Thursday: The US has basically given up trying to negotiate with Iran because of sending drones to Russia. We are not focusing on diplomacy now.

At the same time, “Ned Price”, the spokesperson of the US Ministry of Foreign Affairs, recently admitted that Washington’s focus is not on nuclear negotiations and that the government’s attention is focused on supporting the rioters. Claiming that the efforts to revive the nuclear deal have reached another dead end, he admitted that the US government is no longer focused on negotiations with Iran and has instead focused on supporting the agitators.

On the other hand, Nasser Kanani, the spokesperson of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of our country, in response to the journalists’ question about the news published in recent weeks and also the position of some Ukrainian officials regarding the use of Iranian-made drones by the Russian army in the war in Ukraine, said: The Islamic Republic of Iran published news. He considered the delivery of drones to Russia for use in the war in Ukraine as unfounded and does not confirm it.

He added: “Since the beginning of the conflict, we have always declared our principled and clear policy based on active neutrality and opposition to war and the need for a political settlement of the differences between the two sides, away from violence.”
