According to Mehr news agency, citing Sputnik news agency, the Russian Foreign Ministry issued a statement today and announced: Iran’s Foreign Minister Hossein Amirabdollahian will travel to Moscow on August 31 (Wednesday, September 9) to meet with his Russian counterpart, Sergey Lavrov. he does.

The statement issued by the Russian Foreign Ministry in this regard states: Lavrov and Iran’s Foreign Minister will discuss the current status of the JCPOA in the upcoming talks in Moscow.

The Sputnik news agency quoted the Russian Foreign Ministry and added: The foreign ministers of Russia and Iran will discuss the situation in Ukraine, Syria, Caucasus, and Afghanistan, as well as the implementation of joint projects in the fields of energy and transportation in Moscow.

On the other hand, “John Kirby”, the strategic communications coordinator of the US National Security Council yesterday, Sunday, in his remarks regarding the negotiations to lift anti-Iranian sanctions, said: We have given our response (to Tehran’s view of the European JCPOA proposal) and we hope to reach a positive result; Because if Iran acquires nuclear weapons, it will be difficult to solve any problem in the region.

On the other hand, Mohammad Eslami told reporters today that the basis of JCPOA negotiations was to reject accusations and get excuses from enemies who regularly raise news, places and evidence against the country, saying: Sanctions that are based on this excuse established by JCPOA negotiations should be canceled.

He continued: “Even now, the goal of the negotiations is to cancel the sanctions in a sustainable way and to achieve benefits for the economic situation of the Iranian people.”
