Amir Abdullahian: We do not set a ceiling for improving relations with Turkey

According to Fars News Agency’s Foreign Policy Group, Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdullahian wrote in a Twitter report this evening (Monday) after meeting with Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlüt Çavuşo اوlu: “I am pleased to host my brother Mevlüt Çavuşo اوlu in Tehran.”
He added: “During this cordial and friendly meeting, we agreed to work on a long-term roadmap for further development of bilateral relations.”
The Foreign Minister noted that regional issues, including Afghanistan, were also discussed.
He added: “We do not set a ceiling for improving relations with Turkey.”
According to Fars, the Turkish Foreign Minister, in a meeting with his Iranian counterpart, stated that we encourage Turkish investors and companies to cooperate with Iran, and called for facilitating cooperation in this regard.
In a joint press conference with his Turkish counterpart, our Foreign Minister said that Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan will visit Tehran in the near future and expressed concern over the developments in Lebanon. (Read here)
