Amiri: I am excited / England is a great team, but everything is possible in football

According to Fars news agency, Vahid Amiri, the side player of the Iranian national team, who arrived in Doha last night along with the national team’s convoy, talked about the preparation and also the encounter with the British national team in the 2022 World Cup.

Amiri told the reporter of Bain Sports: We are very excited and eager to start the tournament. We want to do our best and make our fans happy. Before we come to Doha, we have prepared well for the game against England. We will face a strong team, but everything is possible in football.

In its first match in the Qatar World Cup, the Iranian team will face Southgate’s students in the English national team on the 30th of November at the Khalifa International Stadium.
