An 86% increase in visitors to the Anahita Temple compared to Nowruz 98



“The National Cultural Heritage Base of the Anahita Temple has hosted 5,055 Nowruz tourists in the past nine days,” Morteza Ground was quoted as saying by Aria Heritage, citing the public relations of the General Directorate of Cultural Heritage, Tourism and Handicrafts of Kermanshah.

The director of the National Cultural Heritage Site of the Anahita Temple added: “Tourists entering the complex under normal conditions compared to 1998 are experiencing a very significant growth and show a growth of 86 percent.”

“This increase over the same period as Nowruz 1400 shows a growth of 290 percent,” he added.

“The Anahita Temple, the second largest stone building in the country, has the capacity to host thousands of tourists annually,” Ground concluded.
