An actor who was mistaken for a sweeper!/ I heard swearing because of a role – Mehr News Agency | Iran and world’s news

Toraj Faramarzian, an experienced actor of cinema and television, explained in a conversation with Mehr reporter about his latest activities: I am not currently involved in any project. The last job I had was a theater that ended 2 months ago. I’ve had talks for new work, but I’m not in any project yet.

He said about distancing himself from the acting field: it must be difficult for me to distance myself, and that is why I have not voluntarily distanced myself from this field, but my friends who are involved in this field should fill this gap. Everything is not in our hands, after all, they have to contact us from a project and make an offer Over Let’s negotiate and sign a contract for work. If this does not happen, the rest is out of our hands as actors. There are directors and assistant directors who can remind us actors from time to time.

Faramarzian also said about his bolder appearance on TV: “The series”Najala“My last experience was being on TV, which is being rebroadcasted on one of the channels these days. From the beginning, working in cinema and television was not much different for me. I have been working in this profession for a lifetime and my main problem has always been to work. There is no difference between cinema and television, but theater has a special place for me.

I have never thought about these equations

He added: “Perhaps television is more attractive for some people because it is seen more and they are more productive in it, but for me these two mediums are not different.” It is true that being on TV has a bigger audience and the actor’s work is seen on a wider level, but personally I have never thought about these equations. It is beyond me to think about things like visibility and exposure. Those who should have known me in these years have known me.

In my serial works, the “Aghma” series was one of the works that received the most attention, and some people remember my series with it. I have had many experiences in the cinema as well, but the single scene I had in the movie “Bride of Fire” has remained in the audience’s memory the most.

This actor pointed out that he has rarely been invited to work with film projects, and said: There have been many of our colleagues who started working with me and we have had several collaborations, but when they entered the field of film work, they left us. they forgot Of course, maybe the reason for this forgetfulness is mental busyness that prevents them from thinking about people like me! Personally, I don’t feel uncomfortable about it, because it seems that these approaches are common in the art world. After all, each of these former friends have either forgotten me or felt that my position is not suitable for working with them!

Faramarzian said about which of his role-plays are the most memorable in the audience’s memory and are known in the street: “Among my serial works, the “Aghma” series was one of the works that received the most attention, and some people remember my series with it. . I have had many experiences in the cinema, but the single scene I had in the movie “Bride of Fire” has been more memorable in the audience’s memory.

He mentioned about the reactions of people in the street: They often tell me that even though you play mostly negative roles, we still love you. People are very kind and really loving. I have many memories of these public reactions. About 20 years ago, I was broadcasting a TV series. In one of the episodes of that TV series, I was taking the title deed from my wife to sell our house. In order to get this document, I would slap my wife in that sequence. I remember I was walking on the street when a woman came to me from a distance. I saw that he was swearing and cursing under his breath. I looked around and saw that there was no one else. He came back and said I am with you! I said, what sin did I do? He said, “Why did you hit your wife?” No matter what I tried to explain, he didn’t stop and continued cursing!

This veteran actor also said about his interest in positive or negative roles: An actor must be fully prepared to play any role. Since I started my acting career as a teenager, whether in the theater or in cinema and television, I have always been subordinate to the role that the director assigned to me. At the same time, I must also say that my colleagues who play negative roles have a more difficult job.

The municipal officials wanted to take me as a sweeper!

He emphasized: I don’t understand that some younger actors or actors of my generation are looking for positive roles. An actor should not discriminate between positive and negative roles. I have been given negative roles many times and contrary to my character and personal spirit, I have been able to cope with it. One of the roles that he likes very much was related to the series “Rah Shab” directed by Dariush Farhang. In that series, I played the role of a sweeper, which I liked very much. I remember that I was playing this role near Saadat Abad and the film crew was far away from us. The municipal car had come to collect the sweepers and they wanted to take me with them! No matter how the children of the group shouted from afar that this man is our actor, they did not listen! (laughs)

Farmarzian answered the question that after all these years of acting, is there any role that he wishes to play? He said: Most of the roles have been offered to me, but I have not yet had a comedy role in my career. to give I don’t want to test myself in this field either. Of course, not these comedies that have become common today, I like most situational comedies that have meaning and meaning in the heart of their story.

This veteran actor also said that if he returns, he will choose the acting path again: If I have such an opportunity, this time I will follow music first and then I will go to acting. I am interested in music and I think I am a good listener for music.
