An exhibition of handicrafts and souvenirs was held in Baneh



According to Aria Heritage, quoting the public relations of the General Directorate of Cultural Heritage, Tourism and Handicrafts of Kurdistan, Sadollah Rahimikhah said at the opening ceremony of the exhibition on Wednesday evening, April 21, 1401: “In order to commemorate the holy month of Ramadan, “Special souvenirs were held in Baneh on the last nights of the blessed month of Ramadan.”

“In this exhibition, magnificent works by active artists and craftsmen of this city are displayed in the form of 20 booths,” said the head of the Baneh Department of Cultural Heritage, Tourism and Handicrafts.

“In this exhibition, the products of artists active in the fields of weaving, knitting, wood mosaics, joinery, local clothing, leather, traditional blacksmithing, pottery, etc. will be presented,” he reminded.

Rahimikhah added: “The establishment of three booths for handicrafts in the fields of burning, pottery and traditional clothing is one of the side programs of this exhibition, which has been carried out in the premises of Baneh Cultural Heritage, Tourism and Handicrafts Department.”

The head of the Baneh Cultural Heritage, Tourism and Handicrafts Department stated: “The exhibition of handicrafts and souvenirs is ready to be visited by those interested from April 21 to May 30 of this year from 9 pm to midnight.”

“The exhibition was organized by the Cultural Heritage, Tourism and Handicrafts Department of Baneh and the ASO Association of the Disabled, in cooperation with the Islamic Culture and Guidance, Welfare, Health, Silence, Municipality and police departments of the city,” he said.
