Release of Android 12 for the original Galaxy Fold

According to the website SamMobile, Samsung has released the One UI 4.0 UI update along with Android 12 in the F900FXXU6GUL9 firmware version. Although this update has already been released for French users, it will probably be available to more users from all over the world in the next few days. The Korean tech giant also released a December 2021 security patch in the update to address some of the vulnerabilities.

If you are a major Galaxy Fold user, you may receive a notification of a new operating system update in the next few days. You can also install it manually by going to the software update section in the phone settings.

However, if you do not want to wait for the OTA update of your device, you can download the latest firmware file from reputable Internet databases and install this update manually. But this is not recommended for ordinary users.

In Android 12, Samsung has improved its user interface design, security features and privacy, and has introduced many other features. The biggest change in the latest version of Android is related to its design. This new design language, called Material U, combines different elements to form a comprehensive design language for the entire operating system.

Google has also paid special attention to widgets in Android 12, and the widget selection section has been redesigned to make it easier for users to scroll through and view them.
