Ankara and Baku Foreign Ministers Meet Focusing on “Regional Developments”

Senior diplomats from Baku and Ankara met on the sidelines of an international summit in Serbia as Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev hosted the Turkish Minister of Environment in Baku on Tuesday, Fars News Agency reported.
According to news and media sources in the Republic of Azerbaijan, the Foreign Ministers of Azerbaijan and Turkey, Jeyhun Bayramov and Mevlüt Çavuşoغlu, met in the Serbian capital Belgrade.
According to the news agency آذرتاج, Bayramov and Cavusoglu met on the sidelines of an international meeting marking the 60th anniversary of the Non-Aligned Movement in Belgrade.
The Serbian capital, Belgrade, is reportedly hosting a two-day meeting marking the 60th anniversary of the Non-Aligned Movement, with representatives from 105 countries and nine international organizations.
According to the state media of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the Foreign Ministers of Baku and Ankara discussed “some issues on the agenda of bilateral cooperation as well as the current situation in the region.”
The meeting of the Foreign Ministers of the Republic of Azerbaijan and Turkey took place in the context that the Minister of Environment of the Government of Recep Tayyip Erdogan headed a delegation to Baku and met with the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev.
The consultations between Bayramov and Cavusoglu on the developments in the region were carried out in parallel with the movements of different parties regarding the border tensions between the Republic of Azerbaijan and Armenia.
On Tuesday (today) it was reported from Moscow that Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan had traveled to Russia to meet with Russian President Vladimir Putin.
