Anniversary of the death of “Haj Mohammad Khadem” will be held – Mehr News Agency | Iran and world’s news



According to the Mehr correspondent, the late Haj Mohammad Khadem Azghadi, the silver medalist of the 1962 World Freestyle Wrestling Championships in the United States, passed away on December 25, 2016 at the age of 85.

Haj Mohammad Khadem, a contemporary of champions such as Jahan Pahlavan Takhti, was also a member of the national team at the 1960 Rome Olympics, finishing eighth with two wins and two losses to Robashvili of the Soviet Union and Sato of Japan.

He, who also had a history of coaching the national wrestling team, is the father of great heroes such as Amir Reza and Rasoul Khadem.

Mohammad Khadem Azghadi was born on September 3, 1963 in the neighborhood of Sar Shoor Alley in Mashhad. He was one of the pioneers of wrestling and zurkhaneh sports, who finally passed away last year due to heart failure due to the heavy pressures of sports training and old age.

The living body of Haj Mohammad Khadem is buried in the porch of Hazrat Zahra (PBUH) in the holy shrine of Imam Reza (AS) in the holy city of Mashhad. Health procedures should be maintained. Also, according to the family of the late Khadem, the expenses of the ceremony will be spent on charity.
