He continued: The cinema and television industry also have a significant place in influencing sports. The large audience of the media in the world belongs to television and the cinema industry, and of course we cannot ignore the very prominent role of television and cinema in creating culture, attracting people’s participation and accompanying them with sports. He emphasized: the specialized sports film festival is a collective of other festivals; The Ministry of Culture and Islamic Guidance organizes several festivals throughout the year, where each section of cinema is dedicated to one festival, but we hold all sections of cinema, including documentary, short, feature length, etc., in one festival, with this amount of In the 2018 ranking of the Ministry of Culture and Islamic Guidance, we were able to achieve the A rank of international festivals in Iran. Unfortunately, like other institutions, sports are not included in the level of culture and film production, the Ministry of Guidance is in charge of this, and the cinematographic organization must have a unified view of cinematographic issues. All people of any age are interested in sports and by making a film we can create the biggest example in the country, making a sports film should not be forgotten.

The secretary of the festival clarified: If the film organization does not have the right to enter directly into the production of sports films, at least allow it by approving instructions or regulations, and a budget should be provided to any institution that wants to have culture in this area. The private sector cannot hold festivals like the government festivals without having the budget. Interestingly, the only private sector festival in our country that is held competitively is the sports film festival. The call for the Sports Photo Festival was sent to artists from 90 countries and finally we received more than three thousand photos from artists from 53 countries. Our winners this year are from Spain, Iran, Italy, Taiwan, Indonesia and the United States of America. After holding the exhibition of selected photo winners and awarding awards in Tehran, the exhibition of the best works of the 5th International Sports Photo Festival will be held at the same time as the Qatar Football World Cup.

The representative of the International Federation of Photographic Arts (FIAP) in Iran continued: This festival was held in three sections: professional sports, preliminaries of the Qatar Football World Cup and other sports activities, and in total 90 million Tomans are the prizes of different sections of the festival.
