Announcing the winners of the 2023 Critics’ Circle Awards / “Everything Everywhere at Once” and “Abbott Elementary”

According to the film reporter of Fars News Agency, quoted by varietyThe 28th Critics Circle Awards were held Sunday night at the Fremont Century Plaza Hotel in Los Angeles. The annual film and television ceremony was led by “Everything Everywhere at Once” with 14 nominations and ABC’s “Abbott Elementary” with six television nominations.
In this ceremony, “Cate Blanchett” received the “Best Actress in a Leading Role” award. In this section, she has overcome competitors such as “Viola Davis”, “Margot Robbie”, “Michelle Williams” and “Michelle Yeon”.
Brendan Fraser, who won Best Actor for his role in the movie Wall, was nominated along with Tom Cruise, Colin Farrell, Paul Mescal, and Bill Nighy.
Chelsea Handler hosted last night’s awards show after four years of performing for Ty Diggs. In this event, the special “#SeeHer” award was given to Janelle Monae and “Jeff Bridges” was also honored with the Lifetime Achievement Award.
