Apple cannot produce iPhone 14 Pro as much as the market needs

According to a new report, the waiting time for customers to receive Iphone The14 Peru And 1The4 Pro Max increased, because its demand probably exceeded production. In fact, Apple can’t produce enough iPhone 14 Pro to meet demand.
UBS Investment Bank analyst David Vogt wrote in a note to investors by AppleInsider Seen looked at wait times for Apple’s Pro phones using data that tracks the phone’s availability in 30 countries.
In the US, the wait time for the iPhone 14 Pro and 14 Pro Max has increased by 5 to 25 days. It should also be noted that UBS collected its data before China’s recent quarantines, which could affect production. Vogt attributes the increase in wait times to sales growth in September that exceeded expectations.
iPhone 14 Pro sales rate
The sales rate measures the amount of inventory sold in a given time period relative to the amount of inventory received in the same period. In effect, it estimates how quickly a company can sell its inventory and receive revenue.
iPhone sales in September were said to be 3% higher than last year, while Pro models were 50% more expensive than iPhone 13 Pro models in 2021. The early launch of the iPhone 14 series probably helped, although demand has also increased compared to last year.
Waiting times in China have also increased, according to UBS data. This amount has reached about 24 days for the iPhone 14 Pro and 14 Pro Max, which, of course, was 39 days for the iPhone 13 Pro and 13 Pro Max in 2021.
Vogt believes that the resurgence of the coronavirus in China, which has affected Foxconn’s main iPhone factory, could reduce iPhone units sold in the quarter ending in December. He predicted the sale of 86 million devices in that period, although the actual figures may be lower.
