Apple introduced new 14-inch and 16-inch MacBook Pro models with M3 series chips

At its Scary Fast event, alongside the updated iMac and the new entry-level 14-inch MacBook Pro with the M3 chip, Apple unveiled the upgraded models. 14-inch and 16-inch MacBook Pro with M3 Pro and M3 Max chips Introduced. The MacBook Pro with the M3 Max chip can be ordered with up to 128GB of RAM, a new bonus for Apple laptops. Pre-orders begin today, and M3 Pro models will be available on November 7. The delivery of the M3 Max units will take a little longer and these devices are expected to be launched in late November.
As we said, Apple has a new space black color option for its fans. But only the models equipped with M3 Pro and M3 Max chips are offered in space black color. Apple claims that the cover of this new color is designed in such a way that fingerprints do not remain on it. MacBook Pro with M3 Pro and M3 Max chips are also available in silver color. Specifications of the new generation MacBook Pro
The 14-inch and 16-inch MacBook Pro models with the M3 Pro chip have a 12-core CPU and an 18-core GPU. They provide up to 40% speed increase compared to models equipped with M1 Pro chipset. In addition, you can equip the device with up to 36 GB of RAM, which is a slight increase from the previous model’s 32 GB limit. MacBook Pros equipped with the M3 Max chip also offer improved performance with a 16-core CPU and 40-core GPU. Apple’s latest silicon makes it up to 80 percent faster than the M1 Max chip from two years ago.
The 3nm M3 chips are capable of hardware-accelerated ray tracing and offer a new generation of GPUs with faster speeds and higher productivity. Improved GPU performance is provided thanks to a feature that Apple calls Dynamic Caching. In other words, the GPU allocates the amount of memory usage in the hardware on the fly and makes sure that exactly the amount of RAM that is needed is used for each task.
Apple claims that the battery life of the new MacBook Pro laptop reaches 22 hours; At least on the 16-inch model with the M3 Pro chip. The endurance of the M3 Max chip is usually slightly lower, as all its GPU cores consume some power. For the most part, the new MacBook Pros are identical to the M2 Pro/Max chip-equipped laptops that were released earlier this year. They still feature a Mini LED display, a great speaker system, three Thunderbolt 4 ports, an HDMI port, an SD card reader, and a MagSafe connector for charging. The displays on these devices can now deliver up to 600 nits of brightness for SDR content, which is 20 percent brighter than before.
The price of the 14-inch MacBook Pro with the M3 Pro chip starts at $1,999. The 16-inch model also comes with a base price of $2,499.
