In the continuation of the introduction of this feature, the company noted that it now has a greater commitment to women’s health, and for this reason, the addition of body temperature measurement during the night can be very useful for women with the purpose of tracking and detecting the time of menstruation.
The next thing that attracted a lot of attention of users is related to the accident detection feature that detects the severity of your accident. This feature will only work while driving, which will help preserve the 18-hour battery life.
Apple also introduced a power consumption control mode for the Apple Watch Series 8, which, by activating it, the battery life will increase from 18 to 36 hours. It should be noted that this feature will also be available for old watches (from Series 4 onwards) equipped with watchOS 9 operating system. Of course, enabling this mode disables the always-on display and automatic exercise tracking, although activity tracking and crash detection will still be available.
Apple Watch Series 8 will be available in GPS and cellular models at the price of $399 and $499 from September 16 (next week).
