Approval of purchase and sale of goods by border residents with Afghanistan

According to the financial news report, citing the General Department of Public Relations of Post Bank of Iran, based on this approval letter, the purchase and sale of goods specified in the working group of Article 12 of the Law on the Organization of Border Exchanges, approved by the seal of the government, in the form of retail sales in the Bazarche area. Border transactions approved with Afghanistan in the form of a customs letter are allowed by every guardian of a border resident living in the neighboring border cities of Afghanistan with a valid border exchange electronic card, up to $400 per household with an exemption from commercial profit.

Also, in case of using the facilities of Article 8 of the Law on the Organization of Border Exchanges (approved 2004), it will not be possible to benefit from the benefits of this approval letter by the border residents of household heads.

This letter of approval adds that in order to monitor its correct implementation, the Ministry of Interior, the Central Headquarters for Combating Goods and Currency Smuggling and the Command of the Islamic Republic of Iran are required to visit the approved border bazaars with Afghanistan and submit a quarterly report on the implementation of this letter of approval to The first vice president should present.

It should be mentioned: the approval of the purchase and sale of goods by border residents with Afghanistan was approved by the special representative of the president for Afghanistan affairs and based on Article 138 of the Constitution of the Islamic Republic of Iran in the meeting of the Council of Ministers dated March 24, 1401.
