Approval of zoning plan and prioritization of tourist areas of Lorestan
According to Arya Heritage Report, quoting from the public relations of the General Department of Cultural Heritage, Tourism and Handicrafts of Lorestan, Ata Hasanpour said: This plan has been approved by the development and planning council of the province for the purpose of spatial organization of tourism facilities.
Director General of Lorestan Cultural Heritage, Tourism and Handicrafts added: In this plan, 97 tourism areas (including areas, points and lines) were identified and prioritized based on the indicators determined by tourism experts.
He stated: Out of 97 identified tourism regions, 45 regions were identified as 1st grade regions and 52 regions were identified as 2nd grade regions.
Hasanpour added: In this plan, it is emphasized that in order to develop tourism in a balanced way and to provide accommodation, hospitality and entertainment services, tourism facilities and institutions should be established according to the capacities of each region and based on the priority set.
Director General of Cultural Heritage, Tourism and Handicrafts of Lorestan said: Considering the current state of tourism and the positive trends of increasing the number and staying power of tourists in the province and based on forecasts made by tourism experts, the number of 1207 units of various types of tourism facilities to provide decent services to travelers and tourists in Province is required.
