Arabic version of “Office” is made / the twelfth adaptation of a popular series – Mehr News Agency | Iran and world’s news



According to the Mehr news agency, quoting Variety, the Arabic language version of the series “Office” or “Office” based on the original version, which is a comedy starring Ricky Jarvis and Steven Merchant, will be shown by the end of 2022.

The British comedy series, which won the BAFTA and Golden Globe Awards, is called “School” and is made in Saudi Arabia.

Egyptian filmmaker Hisham Fathi is directing the series, and Alessandro Martella from Italy is directing the film. “Aflam Productions” from Riyadh is in charge of production.

Filming will begin in June, and the BBC and BBC, who own the series, will also be in production.

The program will be made in 20 episodes and will first be broadcast via AMBI and then will be available online.

The Arabic version of “Office” takes place in a courier company and the role of its manager, “Malik al-Tawaif”, is played by Saleh Abu Umrah. A number of other Arab actors, including Fahd al-Batiri, Saad Aziz and Razan Mansour, play in the series.

The original version of the British series “Office” was written and directed by Ricky Gervais and Steven Merchant and first aired in the UK 20 years ago.

This is the twelfth adaptation of the series, and the American, Canadian, Chilean, French, Indian, German and even Polish versions of “The Office” have already been made in collaboration with the Embassy and the BBC.
