The head of Khalkhal City’s Cultural Heritage, Tourism and Handicrafts Department added: Considering the capacities of winter tourism in Khalkhal City and the wide acceptance of those interested in winter sports and recreation, this festival has been planned.

He emphasized: Winter sports, shooting flying targets, making snow statues, creating handicraft and souvenir stalls, and performing rituals and traditional music are among the programs that are performed in this festival.

Darvishi continued: This festival is held with the aim of introducing the winter tourism attractions of Khalkhal and also creating social excitement by the Department of Cultural Heritage, Tourism and Handicrafts of Khalkhal city in cooperation with the executive bodies of the city.
