Are people waiting for the liberalization of car imports?

According to Tejarat News, sales in the car market have reached a minimum. This shows that market participants are still optimistic about the liberalization of car imports.

It seems that the prices of Iranian and foreign cars have remained stable. Today, despite the increase in the price of the dollar, the car did not become more expensive. The secretary of the Importers’ Association believes that Iranian and foreign cars have not become more expensive in the market, and the reason for the stability of prices is that the market is waiting for the government’s decision.

Mehdi Dadfar told Tejarat News: “Sales and purchases have decreased significantly.” Now those who are real buyers of cars are trying to buy the car at a lower price due to the liberalization of car import liberalization.

He explained: MPs stated that the import of cars has nothing to do with home appliances and the import ban should not extend to other markets. “Most markets experienced price increases as the dollar rose, but only the car market remained stagnant,” Dadfar said.
