In an interview with Ali Zia on the Formula One program, Siavash Tahmourth said about the criticism of his being ignored in Iranian cinema: “Some people thought that I meant these words because I wanted to be praised. I said this because I want to say that management is wrong. I did not say to myself that this was a warning to the management of these festivals. You can not forget Ali Nasirian. He is an actor who has fifty jobs. Do you invite him to give you a supplement? Aren’t you ashamed ?! You did not give the same. You let it stay in its place, do not bring it down. Managements are wrong. I did not choose this profession for an award and an invitation. “I live my life, I enjoy it and I work for my love and pleasure.”
