Armenia’s response to Baku; Nagorno-Karabakh is not a domestic issue but an international one

According to Fars News Agency’s International Group, a spokesman for the Armenian Foreign Ministry said on Saturday that the use of force could not remove the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict from the international agenda.
According to the website «News ArmeniaHajiyev said on Friday that the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict was over. Nagorno-Karabakh is no longer a foreign policy issue, but an issue on the domestic agenda.
“Armenia has repeatedly stated its principled position on the Nagorno-Karabakh issue,” said Vahan Hunanian, spokesman for the Armenian Foreign Ministry. In other words, Armenia’s position is in line with the position of the international community. Only through the mission of the Joint Chiefs of Staff of the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE) can peace talks provide a comprehensive and lasting solution to the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict based on principles and elements known to both parties, including the inalienable right of the people.
Last year’s war over the Nagorno-Karabakh region on November 9, 2020, with the signing of a ceasefire agreement signed by the President of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan, the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev and the President of Russia Vladimir Putin. It ended and Russia acted as a mediator in the agreement.
Officials of the Republic of Azerbaijan, especially Ilham Aliyev, shortly after the signing of the Nagorno-Karabakh ceasefire agreement in November 2020, which ended the 44-day deadly conflict between the Republics of Armenia and Azerbaijan over the region, created border tensions and resorted to propaganda and false statements to pave the way. They turned.
In the Nagorno-Karabakh ceasefire agreement, Armenia agreed to open closed transport routes between the western part of the Republic of Azerbaijan and Nakhchivan, but nowhere did it create a corridor along the Armenian-Iranian border, removing the border and depriving Iran of access to the Armenian transit route. Nothing has been said.
On the eve of the one-year anniversary of the ceasefire agreement between Yerevan, Baku and Moscow over Nagorno-Karabakh, the Armenian Foreign Minister sharply criticized the positions of the Republic of Azerbaijan in an interview with a French media outlet.
In an interview with the French magazine “Nouvelles d’Armenie”, the senior Armenian official stated that the situation in the South Caucasus is still fragile due to the unconstructive actions of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
“Despite the cessation of hostilities in line with the tripartite declaration of Armenia, Russia and (Azerbaijan) on November 9, 2020 (last year’s ceasefire agreement on the Nagorno-Karabakh region), the situation remains unstable because (the Republic of Azerbaijan) has some obligations,” Mirzoyan said. “It does not apply to the above statement.”
