Arrangements were made to reduce accidents in 41 accident-prone rural areas of Semnan province
According to Arya Heritage Report, citing the public relations of the General Directorate of Cultural Heritage, Tourism and Handicrafts of Semnan Province, Mehdi Samimian added on Saturday March 20, 1401 at the fourth meeting of travel services of Semnan Province: the presence of villagers with flashing lights in order to announce the warning of accident-prone points in rural roads. Attendance was planned in Nowruz 1402.
The Director General of the Office of Rural Affairs and Semnan Governorate Councils said: 250 accident-prone points were identified in the transport axes of Semnan province, of which 41 are accident-prone points in rural axes.
Samimian added: According to the plan, villagers will be present from 8:00 p.m. to 3:00 a.m. in the accident-prone rural areas with flashing lights to announce the warning of accident-prone points in Nowruz 1402.
He said: “Semnan province has 51 tourism target villages, and the installation of signs to attract tourists and increase the stay of travelers is underway in 31 villages.”
The Director General of the Office of Rural Affairs and Governorate Councils of Semnan added: The tourism target villages of the province should be considered in the seventh development plan in order to have a valuable capacity for tourism development.
