Ashraf Ghani Facebook hacked / The Taliban must be helped!

According to the Fars News Agency media reporter, quoting Business InsiderAfghanistan’s latest president says his Facebook account was hacked when he sent a message telling people to “accept the Taliban government.”

A post was shared on Ashraf Ghani’s Facebook page at 12:15 pm Afghan time on Monday, saying the world should engage with the Taliban government.

“The international community must engage with the current government instead of alienating the Afghan people,” the statement said.

“The world must understand that if Afghanistan wants a prosperous and secure Afghanistan, it must extend a hand of friendship. “It cannot be affected by hostilities like it has been for the last twenty years.”

The statement also said that “Gholam Mohammad Ishaqozi”, who is scheduled to speak on behalf of Afghanistan at the UN General Assembly today, “has the support of no government or people.”

But 30 minutes after the Facebook post was published, Ghani’s verified Twitter account announced that his Facebook account had been hacked, saying that anything published since Sunday was no longer valid.

Ghani fled Afghanistan to the UAE on August 15, the day the Taliban captured Kabul. He later said that he did it to try and stop the bloodshed: “Leaving Kabul was the hardest decision of my life, but I believe it was the only way to prevent the shooting and rescue of Kabul and its 6 million citizens.
