Asus has announced the date of the introduction of gaming phones of the Ragphone 7 series

On April 13 (April 24), Asus will unveil its new generation of gaming phones, the Rogue Phone 7 series. Like most 2023 Android flagships, these devices will be equipped with the Snapdragon 8 generation 2 chip.
Ragphone phones have their own special fans, and of course Asus has tried to make them more attractive than other products in the market with various features and different designs in the past years. Therefore, we expect to see such an issue this year, although these devices will be introduced a little earlier than expected.
While last year in July we saw the introduction of the Rogue Phone 6 series, now Asus has decided to introduce their new generation earlier than before.
Possible specifications of the Ragphone 7 series
Currently, there is little information about these smartphones, but it is likely that their power will be provided by the Snapdragon 8 generation 2 chip. In addition to the Rogue Phone 7 series, Asus is also working on the 7D models, which may be introduced later than the original versions and will be powered by one of MediaTek’s chips, not Qualcomm’s.
Asus’s future gaming phones are likely to be equipped with an AMOLED display with a maximum refresh rate of 165 Hz, just like the current generation. Along with the standard, Pro and D versions, we will probably face the Ultimate model, which will have the highest amount of RAM and internal memory.
Despite the attractive design and extremely powerful technical specifications, the Ragphone series phones have one major weakness: poor software support. While most flagships and high-end Android phones get 3-4 stock Android versions, Asus releases only two stock Android versions for the Rugged Phone series. It is possible that with the Rogue Phone 7 series, Asus will change its strategy and have more software support for them.
