He continued: “Unfortunately, before the start of the game, I heard the news of Hossein Kazemi’s death and I was very upset.” During the game, I lost a little focus on this issue, but I tried to manage and control the game.
Atai added: “I thank God, the players performed well, which ended in success and the first platform in Asia.” I am very happy that the Iranian people were happy. I hope everyone is healthy.
The 22nd round of the Asian Men’s Volleyball Championship, which started on September 12 in Chiba, hosted by Japan, ended this evening (Sunday) with the victory of the Iranian national volleyball team.
Teams from Japan, China and Chinese Taipei also finished second to fourth in the competition.
