According to a Fars Radio and Television correspondent, Atash Taghipour, an actor in cinema, theater and television, was the 1400th guest of the “Serialist” nostalgia section performed by Pedram Karimi on the morning of Friday, November 19th. The part dedicated to the series “Sarbadaran” directed by Mohammad Ali Najafi, which went on the air in 1983 with the presence of prominent actors of his time.
Taghipour, who played the role of “Toghai’s cousin” in the series “Sarbadaran”, said about his collaboration with Mohammad Ali Najafi: “I was one of the actors in the theater department.” In the same years and before the series “Sarbadaran” in the tele-theater “Seim[سوم] “I played” directed by Majid Jafari. Of course, I do not know who introduced me to Mr. Najafi. When I signed the contract, the first thing they asked us to do was learn to ride.
“To do this, we went to an equestrian club in Afsaria, which belonged to the army,” he said. When I got on the horse and the horse started to trot, it shook me so much and it was hard for me that I told myself I would go down and cancel my contract as soon as I came down! Of course, we had a good equestrian coach who said that if you listened to me, you would not fall off the horse and we continued to work.

The film and television actor recalled the importance and permanence of the “Sarbadaran” series after about four decades: This series was the first serious television series after the revolution, which was made with the right investment and the accumulation of professional elements. Mr. Najafi was close to the government in those years and had a so-called buyer; As a result, he was able to get the facilities he needed to produce a good job because, as I said, we wanted to do something serious. Our view was that if “Sarbadaran”, as the first experience in those years, did not have a good result, we should read the Fateha of serialization and no one will take over us, which fortunately did not happen.
He added: Mr. Najafi gathered experts in every field to make “Sarbadars”, for example, Mr. Ali Zhakan, who was an assistant in that series, later became a well-known director. Or Mr. Meyarian, who was Grimoire, did a lot of lasting work later. The music of the series was also composed by Farhad Fakhreddini. The author of the Kayhan series was Rahgzar, who later made the series “Bu Ali Sina”. Actors such as Ali Nasirian, Mohammad Ali Keshavarz, Amin Tarakh, Susan Taslimi, etc. played in this series, and all of these loved ones were skilled and professional people. As a result, good factors and writing made this work visible and the founder of the next historical works.
Taghipour reminded: I played the role of “Toghai” cousin. Of course, it was not clear whether this character was really in history or was mostly the product of the writer’s imagination because we are not going to write history shoe by shoe, but he was the protagonist of a real character played by the late Firooz Behjat Mohammadi.
He emphasized that in many series in the sixties and seventies, my voice was dubbed: professors such as the survivors of Ahmad Rasoulzadeh and Parviz Bahram spoke instead of actors. In this series, too, Mr. Ali Kasmaei was the dubbing director. Mohammad Abhari and I played more together; Mohammad Abhari’s voice was said by Mr. Mehdi Azhir, who had a very good voice, while my voice was not very suitable for dubbing and was so-called wild. I felt that friends who were there to record the voices of the speakers or a number of dubbers did not like me to say this role. Of course, they may have been right, but Mr. Kasmaei insisted and said with the same firmness that he always had to say this role himself, and no one spoke anymore.
The actor of the “Sarbadaran” series stated: Of course, maybe if one of the powerful dubbers in the country spoke for me, he would be more heartbroken. However, the actor must also be familiar with arts such as dubbing and editing. Each of these are separate disciplines and have their own subtleties.

Comparing serialization in the past and now, he said: “Now they pay less attention to things than in the past, and there is a kind of weakness.” Good work is the result of a good behind the scenes. I went to play in a series and after a day or two I said it would not be a good thing because behind the scenes the work and tasks that people had were not taken seriously. They behaved in such a way that I felt like I had been taken prisoner. I told this to them and of course they threatened me, but I did not continue. After a while, the director of that series also changed, but this tactic did not work either, and the new director could not collect the work.
Taghipour also spoke about appearing in the series Imam Ali (AS) as follows: Davood Mirbagheri is an artist who, in addition to a good pen, has courage that other people may not have. He believed in his work and did not give up on production problems. Especially when it comes to faith, it belongs to the people themselves and should not be simply ignored. My role in the series Imam Ali (AS) was supposed to be more colorful; That is, it should not be reduced to just two sequences in the final episodes, but it was the character of a person who had already been in the wars. At that time, I was also present in the series “Once Upon a Time”, which had a different make-up, and finally my role in the series “Imam Ali (AS)” became less colorful and I was more involved in the “Once Upon a Time” project.
The veteran actor also explained about his favorite roles: In addition to “Once Upon a Time” and Imam Ali (AS), I also liked the series “Tenth Night” and “House in the Dark”. My roles are usually short, but I try to do my best. I believe that as long as the person is not satisfied with his work and does not sit in his heart, it will not sit in the heart of the audience.
