Australia sanctions 16 Iranian individuals and an organization – Mehr news agency Iran and world’s news

According to the Mehr news agency, quoted by the Guardian, the Australian government announced today that it has expanded the country’s sanctions against Iran.

According to the announcement of this media, Australia’s excuse for applying the mentioned anti-Iranian sanctions is to deal with rioters and disrupters of people’s security, as well as the alleged shipment of weapons from Tehran to Moscow.

The Canberra government’s statement in this regard states that Abdur Rahim Mousavi, the Commander-in-Chief of the Islamic Republic of Iran Army, and senior Basij officials are among those sanctioned today.

These sanctions include the travel ban and blocking of these people’s assets in Australia!
