According to IRNA, the first major international karate event in 2022, the World Karate One Serie A League, will be held in Salzburg, Austria.
The event will take place from January 28 to 30 (February 8 to 10, 1400) and will be followed by the World Karate One Serie A competitions in Cairo (Egypt) and Hangzhou (China).
Salzburg, Austria last hosted a major international karate event in 2020, and no other event was held due to the outbreak of the Corona virus.
Salzburg also hosted three Serie A karate tournaments in 2017, 2018 and 2019, and the Karate One Premier League in 2014, 2015 and 2016.
The presence of the Iranian national karate team in these competitions is still unknown.
