Austria’s foreign minister expressed regret for the conditions created in the relations between Iran and Europe

According to the Foreign Policy Group of Fars News Agency, Hossein Amirabdollahian, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Izan, had a telephone conversation and exchange of views with “Alexander Schallenberg”, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Austria, on Wednesday night, the second of April.

The Minister of Foreign Affairs of our country thanked his Austrian counterpart for his New Year’s greetings in this frank and transparent conversation.

Referring to the importance of diplomacy and dialogue, he welcomed any constructive initiative of Austria in the direction of correct understanding of developments.

Amir Abdollahian thanked Austria for hosting the talks to lift the sanctions.

Regarding the relations between the Islamic Republic of Iran and Austria, the head of our country’s diplomacy called for the development of these cooperations as much as possible, recalling the areas of cooperation, including in the fields of medicine and pharmaceuticals.

Regarding the developments in Ukraine, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Iran expressed hope to speed up the process of ending the war and noted: As the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution stated, the Islamic Republic of Iran categorically rejects participation in the war in Ukraine.

Amir Abdollahian added: We have repeatedly asked the authorities of Ukraine to provide their convincing documentation for the alleged presence of Iranian drones in the war.

The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Austria also congratulated the people and government of Iran on the arrival of Nowruz.

While welcoming the agreement between the Islamic Republic of Iran and Saudi Arabia, he called it a step to reduce tension in the region.

Alexander Shallenberg also expressed his regret for the conditions created in the relations between the Islamic Republic of Iran and Europe, and expressed his hope that by removing the obstacles, positive dynamism and dynamism will be created in the relations between Iran and Europe.
