Azimi: The goal of “book narrative” is cultural engineering in the field of books and reading

According to the art and media reporter of Fars news agency, while the 34th Tehran International Book Fair is starting its journey, based on the official and published statistics, the 34th period should be considered a unique period in terms of publishers’ participation, audience reception and financial circulation. . The presence of more than three thousand publishers, the remarkable reception of enthusiasts and visitors, and the record purchases are all proof of the success and acceptance of this course. We are those who played a significant role and contribution in promoting, advertising and explaining the book on the sidelines of the most important cultural event of the Islamic Revolution, but one of these programs that has paid special attention to the explanation of book reading in addition to promoting the book, is the television program Narrative of the Book, a program that The cooperation of the Fatah Narrative Cultural Foundation and the Internet TV of books, productions, and daily broadcasts on the Ik Sima network for the audience and those who are interested.

Therefore, we sat down to talk with Samia Azimi Sotoudeh, a writer and expert in the field of literature and books, who is the editor of this program:

* From sustainability literature to the narrative of progress in the narrative of the book

At the beginning, Somia Azimi said in relation to the causes and methods of producing and broadcasting the program “Narrative of the Book” that the program “Narrative of the Book” is actually a special program around the 34th Tehran International Book Fair, which was produced with the focus on the literature of sustainability, sacred defense, the narrative of progress and the Islamic Revolution. in which we talked with publishers, writers and those involved in this field.

He added: This program is a product of the Fatah Narrative Cultural Foundation and the book network, which was recorded in the Fatah Narrative Foundation and Shahid Avini Museum. In this program, we hosted 25 critics, publishers and writers to listen to the untold stories of their lifestyles and how they became interested in books, the first books they read, and the diligence and efforts that made them become a well-known, prominent and professional writer today.

* Why publishers enter the field of holy defense and existing damages

This book and media activist stated in relation to how to talk with the guests and what kind of people the guests of this program are in the field of books and literature. We asked the reason why they entered areas such as the Islamic Revolution and Holy Defense.

Azimi added: For example, one of the guests of our program was Mr. Javad Kamour Bakhshaish, who was present as a publisher, writer and critic. He raised very specific points about documentaries and different and numerous types in the field of Holy Defense and Islamic Revolution. Or, we invited Mr. Javad Kalate Arabi, the director of 27 publications, he is also active in the fields of publishing and writing, and we tried to talk with him from all aspects, and he also gave interesting and special points, including the harms in the field of sustainable literature. And they brought up the biographies of the martyrs. Mr. Morteza Ghazi was one of our other guests, and according to his articles and notes, we tried to talk about different types of sustainable literature, and in my opinion, Mr. Ghazi’s program is one of the best book narration programs.

*Cultural engineering in book narration is promoting and explaining book reading

The editor of “Raviat Ketab” as the determiner of the content policies of this program, referring to the selection criteria of writers and publishers, said: Of course, we went to the writers and publishers of sustainability and holy defense literature for the reason that we tell their lifestyles to the audience. Anyway, all people are interested in books and reading books from childhood and adolescence, but when they reach youth and adulthood, the number of book readers decreases and this decrease is due to the lack of special activities that should be done for these ages. In fact, people do not have a relationship and familiarity with the people of the book, that is, they have not become a celebrity for the people, and this has caused people to stay away from the people of the book and the people of the book. With the knowledge I had of this challenge and dilemma, I tried to direct the conversation with our publishers and authors in a direction that the audience would be inclined to read their works after seeing and hearing their history and past.

He added: “Actually, with years of experience in the field of writing and books, I tried to introduce the author and the publisher instead of introducing the book, and this is a kind of cultural engineering and atmosphere creation so that the audience will be better and more enthusiastic about the product of that publisher and the book of that author.”

At the end, Azimi pointed out that the TV program “Book Narrative” produced by Fateh Narrative Cultural Foundation in collaboration with Kitab Internet TV will be aired every day around 18:00 on Ik Sima channel during the 34th Tehran International Book Fair.
