Babak Barzoye died

Babak Barzoye, an artist photographer in the field of press and cinema photography, passed away today, Tuesday, August 25.
Charso Press: Babak Barzoye is one of the photographers who has a rich track record not only in the field of cinema but also in the field of press photography and cooperation with various media, including news agencies. The news of this artist’s coma was published on the 8th of January 1400.
Kamaluddin Shahrokh, a member of the Board of Directors of the National Association of Photographers of Iran, in an earlier text, described the details of the artist’s last physical condition as follows: “Hemorrhaging in the central brain region of the hypothalamus caused him to lose consciousness, and the possibility of surgery is associated with a lot of risk. and cause more injuries.”
Today, however, Mehdi Nuralishahi, Public Relations of the Minister of Culture and Islamic Guidance, announced the death of this artist by publishing a text on Instagram.
Haider Rezaei, who is a photographer and a friend of this artist, confirmed the news of his death. In an interview with Isna, the artist said: “Babek Barzoye passed away today at noon and his family is still in shock.”
Babak Barzoye, whose father, Farzin Barzoye, is one of the leading brain surgeons in the country, had a brain complication in the fall of 2016 before he went into a coma in the winter of last year.
In cinema photography, he has collaborated with directors such as: Rasul Malaqlipour, Ahmadreza Darwish, Masoud Kimiaei and Puran Derakhshande.
In 1375, he won the Diploma and Crystal Simorgh for the best film photographer for the photography of the film “Journey to Chezabeh” directed by Rasul Malaqlipour. He is considered one of the most active art photographers in Iran by photographing more than 10 TV series, 35 long and short films and more than 200 domestic theaters.
