Badamki: The attacks on Skochic were unfair

According to Fars News Agency’s sports correspondent, Hossein Badamki said about Mashhad hosting Iran’s match against Lebanon: “First of all, congratulations on the New Year.” A very good thing happened in Mashhad and this is the first time that an official game of the national team is played in the city. I thank God, with the efforts of the provincial football board, this match will be held in the city of Imam Reza (AS). The presence of spectators is also somewhat free and they can come to the stadium to watch the national team play. It will definitely be a memorable event in the history of Mashhad sports.
He explained about his assessment of the national spirit of our country: “Thank God, the condition of the national team was good, according to what I saw, the children were in good condition and highly motivated.” They are ready for a very good match against Lebanon.
The former player of the Iranian national football team said about the criticism of Dragan Skucic’s performance in relation to the Korean game: “This attack is a bit unfair.” From the day Skocic is ready to get great results and lose in football. With one loss, he should not have been attacked so much. Of course, according to the words of the federation officials and the members of the board of directors, he will continue his work in the national team. Skocic is now the head coach of the national team and we should all support him.
Badamki continued: “Although our national team has reached the World Cup, tomorrow is an official game, so it was not right to create these attacks.” We must stand together and help Skocic and the national team.
Regarding the fact that it may happen in Iranian football that two days before the match, a member of the federation’s board of directors mentions a better option to replace the head coach of the national team, he replied: You should ask yourself this question. Of course, they made the issue too big, we ourselves would like to show the situation a bit bigger than it is, and that makes things difficult.
The head of the Mashhad Football Board said about the possibility of women attending the match between Iran and Lebanon in Imam Reza (AS) Stadium: “God willing, I think this will happen tomorrow.”
