Baku’s reaction to the armed attack on the Embassy of the Republic of Azerbaijan in Tehran – Mehr news agency Iran and world’s news

According to Mehr news agency, the authorities of the Republic of Azerbaijan reacted to the armed attack on the embassy of this country in Tehran.

President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev tweeted: We strongly condemn the action taken against our embassy in Tehran.

Aliyev asked the Iranian authorities to immediately investigate this terrorist attack and punish the perpetrators.

He also emphasized that attacking diplomatic missions is unacceptable.

He also expressed his condolences to the family of Orkhan Asgraf, the head of the security team of the Embassy of the Republic of Azerbaijan in Tehran, who lost his life in this attack.

Also, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Jihun Bayramov, emphasized the necessity of punishing the perpetrators of this attack and expressed his condolences to the victim’s family.
