Bank deposits crossed the border of 8 thousand billion tomans


During the last one year (from September of last year to September of this year), nearly two thousand hemats have been deposited in bank deposits. The point-by-point growth of bank deposits has entered the 30% channel at the end of Mehr this year.

The growth of bank deposits in the new channel

The latest report of the country’s monetary institution indicates that the balance of bank deposits reached 8 thousand 375 hemats at the end of October this year, which has grown by 30.3% compared to October last year. In other words, from September of last year to September of this year, approximately 2,000 hemats (the exact equivalent of 1,949 hemats) have been added to the balance of bank deposits.

Out of 8 thousand and 375 hemats of bank deposits at the end of Mehr this year, 800 hemats were deposited as legal deposits with the central bank, which is equivalent to 9.55% of all bank deposits.

In this regard, the amount of bank deposits after deducting the legal deposit has also reached the level of 7 thousand 575 hemats at the end of Mehr this year, which has increased by 31.2% compared to the same period last year.

On the other hand, the balance of the country’s banking system has reached 6,347 hemats at the end of September this year, which has grown by 34.6% compared to the same period last year and by 13.7% compared to the end of last year.

During the mentioned period, the growth of banking facilities has exceeded the growth of deposits by 4.3%.

The drop in lending ratio in Mehr this year

The ratio of facilities to deposits (after deducting the legal deposit) reached 83.8% at the end of Mehr this year, which is an increase of 2.1 percentage points compared to the same situation last year, which was 81.7%.

On the other hand, the ratio of facilities to deposits (after deducting the legal deposit) has decreased at the end of Mehr this year compared to the previous month. This ratio was equal to 84.1% at the end of September this year.
