Banks have 2.5 times the liquidity of the country

The new report of the Central Bank of the summary of assets and liabilities of the country’s banking system shows that the total assets of Iranian banks at the end of 1401 reached more than 15,393,000 billion tomans, which is about 2.5 times the liquidity of the entire country.
The liquidity of the country at the end of last year was announced as 6337 thousand billion tomans.
According to this report, the assets of Iranian banks at the end of 1400 were more than 11 thousand thousand billion tomans, which increased by 39.5% in one year, equivalent to 4356 thousand billion tomans, which means more than two thirds of liquidity.
