According to Tasnim news agency, Barcelona officially announced the purchase of Vitor Roque, the Brazilian striker of Atletico Paranaense, this afternoon (Wednesday). This 18-year-old player, who continues to play in Atlético Paranaense this season and will join the Catalans in June 2024, has committed himself to Barcelona until the end of June 2031 by signing this contract.
Roque’s contract with Barcelona includes a 500 million euro termination clause, and the Catalans will pay 30 million euro to Atlético Paranaense to complete the transfer. Also, bonuses worth 26 million euros are included in the contract of the parties, and if this player wins the Ballon d’Or in the future, 5 million euros will be added to the number of bonuses.
Roque has played 66 games for Atlético Paranaense in various competitions and has scored 22 goals and provided 9 assists.
