Bashar al-Jaafari: The director of the war in Syria and Ukraine is one

According to Fars News Agency’s International Service, Syrian Deputy Foreign Minister Bashar al-Jaafari on Monday evening criticized the actions of the United States and Western countries in the Ukraine-Russia crisis, saying that the West had also sought to strike Moscow during the Syrian crisis.

Syrian Deputy Foreign Minister to the news agency Sputnik “One of the reasons for the war against Syria was that [این کشور] He opposed the construction of a Qatari gas pipeline to Europe via Turkey. [هدف از این کار]-Tap the line [لوله] “It was Russia.”

He stressed that the unjust unilateral sanctions imposed by Western countries over the past few years and today’s sanctions against Russia, in accordance with the UN Charter, are illegal. The Syrian official said that a new mechanism should be created for interaction between the countries under Western sanctions.

Al-Jaafari also stressed: “The scene of the terrorists in Syria and the neo-Nazis in Ukraine are the same … Syria also records the US action in assigning a role to the terrorists and transferring them from one place to another on its territory.

“Russia’s role in the international balance cannot be ignored,” the Syrian diplomat concluded. When Russian President Vladimir Putin decided to enter Ukraine, he was in a defensive position, not an offensive one. “The volume of Western blackmail and lies in Ukraine is enormous.”

Last Thursday morning, Russian President Vladimir Putin ordered a special operation in the Denbas region in response to a request for military assistance from the leaders of the separatist region of eastern Ukraine (Luhansk and Donetsk). Meanwhile, the US-led West is trying to turn the region into a NATO military stronghold with the help of Ukraine, regardless of Russia’s repeated demands for negotiations.

Russia and Ukraine have begun talks to reduce tensions in Belarus, which are set to resume tomorrow, Tuesday. (More details).
